What is a mom?

What is a mom?

A mom is a child's first love, teacher, chef, nurse, protector, certified snuggler and overall, your child's everything.  Becoming a mom changed me in more ways than I could comprehend.  Before becoming a mom, I often wondered what my purpose was in life.  What is it that I was meant to do?  When my first son, was born, as soon as I held him in my arms, I no longer questioned my purpose.  Staring down at his little face and taking him in entirely; his look, his feel, his scent... all was right in the world.  I was fortunate to be home with my three children since their birth.  In my "spare" time (hahahaha) I am passionate about cooking and baking and am a self-proclaimed "foodie" and amateur chef-in-the-making.  I am also a writer and am currently working on my first fiction novel and children’s book.  I started this website to help foster and grow a community of multifaceted SuperMomly women, like myself, who can conquer it all.  It is not easy, but together, we wake up each morning and give it our all to be the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, employee (and/or entrepreneur), chef, writer, juggler extraordinaire and whatever else you are in life.  Sometimes, we feel like a rockstar and like we are excelling at every aspect of our life.  Other times (which could seem like seconds later) we feel like we are failing horribly at everything.  If you feel this split sense of self and often experience the highs and the lows, then this site is for you.  This is a place to share those triumphs and struggles and for this community of SuperMomly women to help be your cheerleaders through the triumphs and to help uplift you through the struggles.  In addition to our products, the site is a creative outlet and a place for me to share some of my recipes, family stories, writing and musings of my mind.  I hope you all enjoy this community of SuperMomly - we are the real modern day Super Heroes!
